How to submit your song for online radio promotion in Nigeria

Prepare a recording, understand where it will play, and follow the Radio Naija booking process without confusing paid promotion with a broadcaster’s editorial playlist.

Choose the placement, not just the word radio

A broadcaster’s editorial playlist and a paid promotion inside an online listening app are different products. Radio Naija song promotion is a labelled insertion for people listening through Radio Naija. It does not buy a presenter’s recommendation, FM transmission, or a place on every listed broadcaster’s own playlist. Before you submit a recording, decide whether you want song rotation or an interactive artist spotlight.

Prepare a usable submission

Use the final version of your song, check the title and artist spelling, and supply an email address you can access. The song form accepts an audio file or a supported YouTube link. An uploaded audio file is the audio-only option; YouTube playback uses YouTube’s player and its playback restrictions. Check the current file limits on the booking form before uploading.

Payment and airing are separate steps

Submitting details is not proof of a successful payment or a completed broadcast. Open the invoice, check the placement and amount, and follow the payment provider’s checkout. The server must confirm payment. Content review and the current automatic-airing setting determine the next step. Keep the invoice link so you can resume an interrupted checkout rather than creating another booking.

Set a realistic objective

A campaign can introduce a record to people who are already listening, but audience availability and competing rotation items affect delivery. Do not convert a booking duration into an assumed number of listeners. A reported qualifying play is not a Spotify stream, a new fan, a download or a sale. Compare actual reported delivery with your own release goals after the campaign.

Current Radio Naija offers

Song rotation: ₦50,000 for 30 days. Artist of the Week: ₦50,000 for 7 days after approval. Song of the Week: ₦50,000 for 7 days after approval. Commercial: ₦25,000 for 30 days, for a 30-second commercial. Song activation after confirmed payment waits for review. Commercials and spotlights require approval. Check the live booking page and invoice before paying; prices can change.

Book the right service

Promote your song, compare Artist and Song of the Week, or brief a commercial. For page sponsorships, see advertising options. These are Radio Naija app placements, not promised FM airplay or editorial playlist access. Payment, content approval and actual delivery are separate milestones.
